Position:  Psychometrist- Billingual (Full-Time)

Timmins, Ontario

To perform psychometric and behavioural assessments and to develop treatment strategies and oversee treatment plans under the direction of the Supervisor. To participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team servicing the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.

The successful candidate will posses a Master’s Degree or an Honour’s Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.   Specific background courses in psychometric testing and behaviour modification is preferred as well as having worked with individuals with developmental disabilities. Exceptional experience and potential to obtain registration as a Certified Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario would be an asset.  Must have good written and verbal communication skills in French and English; up to date computer skills; ability to work independently.  A valid driver’s licence and use of a vehicle are necessary.

Wage:
$26.91 – $29.52 (HBA Level)
$27.12 – $30.12 (M.A. Level)
M.A.level may be eligible for a grant up to a maximum of $15,000 paid over a three year period from the Northern Ontario Grant Assistance Program. Candidate may also be eligible for a $800.00 Bilingual Signing Bonus under same program.

Hours of Work: 75 hrs/2 weeks
